Welcome to Hooked! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hooked mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.

By accessing or using Hooked, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Hooked is an event-based social platform developed and operated by Hooked, designed to facilitate meaningful interactions and connections between individuals during live, time-limited, organizer-hosted events. Our goal is to provide a secure and engaging space for attendees of weddings, conferences, parties, and other private or public gatherings to discover and connect with others in real-time.

2. Eligibility

To access and use Hooked, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

• Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to verify your eligibility at any time and to suspend or terminate any user account that fails to meet these criteria.

3. Account and Profile

To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to log in using a third-party authentication provider such as Google or Apple. By doing so, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information

• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

Hooked profiles are event-specific. Once the event ends, your profile will no longer be accessible within the app and will be permanently removed from view within 72 hours. Some anonymized data may be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Harass, harm, or threaten any person

• Impersonate another individual or misrepresent your affiliation

• Use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose

• Interfere with or disrupt the experience of other users or the functionality of the platform

Hooked reserves the right to remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts found to be in violation of these guidelines.

5. Events and Interactions

Hooked is not an event organizer. We simply provide the platform through which users can discover and interact with one another during live events.

We do not moderate user interactions. You are solely responsible for the connections you make, the content you share, and the conversations you engage in. Please exercise common sense and prioritize your safety in all interactions.

6. Privacy

Hooked respects your privacy. All personal data collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, and design elements within the Hooked app and website (excluding user-generated content) are the property of Hooked or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any material from the Service

• Modify or create derivative works

• Use our branding without express written permission

8. Termination

You may stop using Hooked at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion if we determine that you have violated these Terms, misused the platform, or engaged in any behavior that compromises the safety or experience of others.

9. Disclaimers

Hooked is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content

• The availability or functionality of features

• Your ability to match, connect, or interact with other users

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hooked is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data

• Loss of goodwill

• Personal injury resulting from user interactions

• Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service

Your sole remedy is to discontinue using the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal obligations, or business practices. If significant updates are made, we will notify you via the app or email.

By continuing to use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.
